Job description:
This job is a Software Engineer job for the existing application written in C++/C
- The requested person will have to work in collaboration with other members. He will have to use selected and already deployed development methodologies /tools.
- Developments are made on LINUX/RTAI (with an abstraction layer guaranteeing an OS independent development).
- Some development tools are used within the team to ease team work, i.e. software configuration management (using CVS), bug tracking, documentation management, project follow up.
- Under a team leader responsibility, the selected engineer will have to specify, develop, unitary test, contribute to SW modules integration.

Required profile:
- 4-6 years Software development experience.
- Capacity to specify and develop an object oriented application.
- Strong C++/C development experience.
- Good knowledge of MPEG-2/MPEG-4/DVB
- Strong Knowledge of LINUX environment. Windows Knowledge is a plus.
- Good experience in real time software development. Good knowledge of associated constraints
- Fluent English is required
- XML/XSL knowledge is a key advantage
- Knowledge and experiences of UML is a plus.
The candidate shall work inside a team with a good autonomy in its own work and be capacity to analyze specification, detect and analyze issues, identify solutions. And also adapt existing SW modules.
